Technical Lead/ Operations Lead
Our client based in Milton Keynes is currently looking for a Technical Lead. The Technical Lead will work in a dynamic team responsible for operations support for our client, International voice and data customers. The employee will be responsible for operations of the customer networks managed by the SIC/SCC in accordance with contractual SLA`s, OLA`s and budgets. Co-ordinate and support activities within the live/operational cycle of the various networks managed by the SIC/SCC to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction in a 24/7 environment
Act as single point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for key accounts
Provide Lead Incident Management function for key accounts (on-call as required)
Provide technical and business support to Service Delivery and key account customers
Liaison with in-country Operating Companies
Maintain current situation awareness (all incidents/tickets) for key accounts
Support implementation, moves, adds and change process of new services for key accounts
Incident, Problem, Change and Escalation point for key accounts
Review and update working processes and procedures for key accounts
Provide effective procedure update training to SIC/SCC Analysts as and when required

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A thorough understanding of the UK and global markets.
Excellent telecommunications knowledge with commercial and technical background and an understanding of how they are applied in business
Experience with multinational companies
Strong track record of achievements
At least 5 years technical/telecommunications network operations background
Experience in a sales environment with customer contact
Experience in project work leadership
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication - written, verbal and presentation skills
Very good analytical skills
Negotiation skills
Confidence and presence to deal with customers, suppliers and colleagues at high level
Experience of product specific designs utilising IP, IP VPN MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, X.25, xDSL, Voice, VoIP, wLAN
Good working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies utilising SDH, PDH, DWDM, IP, Voice technologies such as CISCO, LUCENT, ERICSSON, NORTEL etc.
Good working knowledge of network management tool sets e.g. HP Openview, Spectrum etc.
Proactive individual
Ability to define and meet deadlines and targets
Very good team player
EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
CCNP or CCIP with Specialisations or other vendor certifications
